About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world while understanding the cultures around me. To spread love, acceptance, and laughter; while having a blast.

ABOUT ME

My friends call me the social Butterfly. I natural make friends where ever I go. Kristen: "Brittany is a friend-seeking missile, no one can hide from her." I just got back from an exchange program in Bremen, Germany. I love people, cultures, and the diversities of this world. I want to see all that I can. I am all about having fun. I live 40 minutes from the beautiful mountains of Zion. I am always hiking, swimming, and spending my days basking in the desert sun. At nights I like to retire by a fire and watch the star filled heavens above. I have been belly dancing since I was a kid. I love music especially the beat of a drum. I have been a part of S.C.A. for a few years now and have been loving the experience. I am a Leo with a Gemini moon, which completely explains me. But if you don't know much about astrology basically it means I am a proud, loving, happy, sun beam that has to shine everywhere at once.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what we make it. If I hold true to who I am, what I want, and where I am going, I will live the life I have always dreamed. "To travel is better than to arrive" -Unknown author My Fear is just excitement waiting to happen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am glade I became apart of S.C.A. (Society of creative Anachronisms)and Belly dance, were I could step out of my box and express myself. It was were I first started expressing myself and accepting others. My last big jump was going to Europe. I lived in Germany for 6 months. It was the first time I have moved to another country, first time on a train, first time with a different language, first time not having some one to fall back onto, first time completely on my own, first time without a job or residual income, First time getting yelled at in a Polish dialect, first time getting saved from being kicked off a train because I was a foreigner, first time with cultures all over the world, first time to Oktoberfest, first time in the comfy coffee shops of Amsterdam, first time in the mountains of Austria, first time in the oceans of Poland, first time to truly be myself, first time to travel and explore like I have always wanted, first step of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Acceptance is key. The more people we meet, the more open minded we become, and the more we realize that there are a million solutions.
"Be the change you want to see in this world" - Gandhi

I want to know more about cultures. If you have interesting traditions I want to know about it. How did it get started? Why did it last this long? What does it mean to you/your family/your country/your culture?
