ABOUT ME

When I was younger, my dream was to be a farming ballerina who traveled all over the world dancing and growing vegetables. While these passions do not make very much sense when thrown together, I can separate each of their origins. The love of dancing came from my idol, my ballet teacher, Miss Bettina. The farming originated from my hippie mother, who instilled a sense of wonderment for nature in me; while my father, the travel agent, gave me a dream to see far-off places. I can still remember the thrill of being allowed to help my father work after dinner. I would sit in the floor of his office and fold brochures way past bedtime. As I folded the shiny pieces of paper, I would stare at the vivid pictures of exotic lands. The bright colors and foreign images looked so intriguing; I wanted to spend my life traveling from country to country across all continents.....

So. I know I love travel...but I don't know how else to describe myself....so I'll let the words of others do the work for me:

Seeing the sun rise over the Charles River in Boston after sleeping on the bank with good friends my last night in the city.

I could teach you how to bake a loaf of bread or how to write run-on sentences or how to tie your shoes.

I want to learn from as many people as possible about different cultures, lifestyles, and beliefs.
