Hi!!! My name is Britany and I am currently a 3rd year student at the university of Kentucky college of dentistry. I adore animals, I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I love eating and trying out new vegan recipes! I love the outdoors and have spent a lot of time in red river gorge here in Kentucky. I grew up in a small town and was taught alllll about hospitality, so I hope I can become more active in this community both as a host and a guest. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and I can not wait to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise, I listen to everything! I love modest mouse, lo-fi, classic rock, country, alternative, etc. As long as its upbeat, I am guaranteed to like it! Sad/slow songs put me down so I never listen to anything like that! I love self help books and just finished up "the subtle art of not giving a f***" and "you are a badass. I am very big into mindfulness right now which helps me a lot with my intensive school schedule. as far as movies, again, I aint picky. I like everything especially if it makes me laugh!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am working on that now! up to the point, I have been a super-nerd studying all the time and worrying about school. I have camped and went on backpacking trips, I am a rock climber as well so thats pretty cool. I am 24 right now and I feel like my life is going by so fast now! I am trying to branch out and try as many new things as possible!

I am a pretty diverse person you could say. I have a pretty unique background growing up in the heart of Appalachia. lots of rich culture and history to share with you! I always want to learn about other people and their backgrounds as well. most people are surprised to hear me talk because I have such a strong accent. and they are also surprised to meet a vegan liberal hillbilly, but here I am!!
