Overview
About Me
I'm a fairly recent college graduate currently living in NYC where I just started working as the coordinator of Americorps volunteers with Westhab, a non-profit that helps provide low-income housing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been building up my courage to join the couchsurfing bandwagon for a couple of years now. I love the idea of people opening up their homes to strangers just to be nice and to meet new people.
Interests
I love traveling and going on adventures. But when I'm not adventuring, I tend to lead a fairly sedentary life where instead of burning calories, I burn through books and episodes of TV shows on Netflix. I also will occasionally burn my tongue on my favorite tea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much anything fictional. I love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Shakespeare, Marvel comics (and the films and TV shows), Joss Whedon, Victor Hugo, Sherlock, Nerdfighteria, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, LOST...the list goes on in all sorts of strange and unexpected directions
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
--Climbed the pyramids of Tikal in Guatemala
--Drove around in a classic American car in Havana, Cuba
--Had a mock sword fight at the top of the Cliffs of Insanity (AKA the Cliffs of Moher)
--Leapfrogged over a Scotsman whilst playing human checkers outside the Terra Cotta Warrior Museum in Xi'an China
Teach, Learn, Share
Imagine everyone you meet as the main character of a book you're reading
What I Can Share with Hosts
Funny stories; an in-depth conversation about random books, movies, and TV shows; an encyclopedic knowledge of the Harry Potter universe. And I always have candy.
