About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Time for study and retraining but I'm trying to see some of my home country... Had to travel half way round to world to realise I haven't seen much of Ol' Blighty
ABOUT ME
About me.... Well I'm Nick (clearly). I like meeting new people and chatting to anyone. A requirement in my job (doorman of 6 years).
I tend to be pretty random and somewhat impulsive. Not many people swap and change direction in life like me...
I never quite know where I'm at and always want to be somewhere else.
My interests include, jewellery design and making (when I have the time), cycling, fitness in general (you cant really tell to look at me lol) and like a good read from time to time.
PHILOSOPHY
"You work to live, not live to work!"
I'm still trying to find that balance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't got my own place at the minute but as soon as I do I'll be making sure I have a couch sorted out.
I'm gonna try get more involved with CS than I have been recently.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've not couch surfed officially but I was offered a bed when I was cycling from Mildura to Melbourne in Australia in January 2010. I happily accepted but its one experience I hope not to repeat although unforgettable, all the same...
Interests
I'm interested in photography, I think its a great way to immortalise your memories and a great way to be creative.
I'm a keen cyclist, (ok you have me) I've ridden a bike intermittently over the years and even tried my own cycle courier business but times where hard. I'm now sick of cars and intend on traveling Australia on bike.
I enjoy being creative and have to keep my mind occupied. I enjoy making silver jewelery and I've even got my own makers mark. I've had a go at web design from time to time.

Books I read have mainly been Chris Ryan & Andy Mcnabb titles. I think they books are so gripping. i've also started reading alot of travel books, mainly cycling orientated.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip to Malaysia and Australia Nov 2009 - Nov 2010
Met some great people and had a great time. I want to repeat it so much...
Teach, Learn, Share
This is actually quite a toughie, I guess I .... need to think about this one more.
maybe someone who can teach me writing skills as I'd love to be able write about my life experiences in an enjoyable way. (once I've got some material first that is)
