CURRENT MISSION

I am currently living in Tauranga, NZ and want to travel to as many places as I can and meet people along the way. I enjoy meeting new people, especially locals who can teach me about their language, culture, and history.

ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Tauranga, NZ with my boyfriend. I lived in Munich, Germany as an Au-pair last year (2010). I finished my BSc in Psychology and wanted to live and travel in Europe for a year before going back to university to become an Elementary School teacher. I love being outdoors, camping, playing sports, hanging out at the beach, reading, listening to music, and taking pictures. I love my family and friends, they mean everything to me! I am open to new experiences and to trying things I never thought I would ever do. I have learned a lot about myself through my travels and am so glad I did try and do these new things because they have led to some great adventures!

PHILOSOPHY

You are never too old to try something new! Live life to its full potential, be happy and don't forget to laugh!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host but can't at the moment but am definitely willing to meet up for coffee or a drink if ever anyone is in New Zealand and I am around. I also would like to use CS to couch surf myself in another city and hope to meet some amazing people doing it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Heard some great stories from friends about their couch surfing experiences and I have also couch surfed in Norway and Australia!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Backpacking through Europe 2 summers in a row and moving to Europe for 1 year which has lead to these amazing things:
seeing many a sunset in Croatia, drove around a Greek island via ATV, hang glided over the Swiss mountains, experienced Amsterdam with my younger brother, kayaked along the Amalfi coast, was in Sicily for the 2006 World Cup football Championship when Italy won, climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower, hiked a German mountain in the snow, snowboarded in the Austrian Alps, swam through a cave in Mallorca, roadtripped in the south of Spain, walked through a Slovenian gorge and explored one of the biggest caves in the world, surfed in Australia, and did an 8 hour hike and horseback rode in NZ! And I hope I have more amazing things to add to this list as my travel experiences continue to grow!
