About Me

I work as a TV journalist in Switzerland. I‘m a curious person and I love getting to know new people, cultures and languages.
In my free time, I go hiking, running, I read, cook, meet friends, learn languages ( Norwegian and Spanish at the moment) or ride my bike in beautiful Zurich.
I‘m passionate about the environment, I try to reduce my footprint and I‘m vegan. It‘s no problem for me if you‘re not. Just wanted to make it clear from the start :)

Right now, I‘m on unpaid leave for 6 months. During that time, I‘m exploring Latin America and hope to improve my poor Spanish :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I mostly stay in hostels, which is nice to get to know other tourists. But it‘s not the best place to get in touch with locals, to get to know the culture of the city/country.

As I have some time to explore South America, I‘d like to try couchsurfing for the first time. I hope that you can tell me something about your culture, give me tipps, maybe even show me around in your city and help me with my Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I work as a film critic, so I watch a lot of movies for my job. The best I‘ve seen in the last months is the Icelandic film „Woman at War“.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal with a friend. It‘s a two-week trek during which you climb up to 5400m. The scenery is amazing and it was an experience I‘ll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you like, I can teach you some German. Or Swiss German, which is spoken in Switzerland and sounds even weirder :)

I can share my knowledge about sustainable living, recycling and vegan nutrition. Only if you‘re interested, of course.

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Norway, Switzerland
