I love to learn about the world around me. I think the most tragic thing in the world is people who never beak free from the suffocating comfort of what they've always known. There is so much beauty in this world and I don't intend to let any of it pass me by.

PHILOSOPHY

To be able to reflect on my life in old age and breathe a sigh of relief that I accomplished everything I wanted to.

I believe that backpackers or those otherwise preoccupied by their insatiable wanderlust have a certain kind of wisdom which others lack.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gazed up at the Sistine chapel in Italy, went skydiving in New Zealand, prayed at the wailing wall in Israel, saw President Obama in the house of senate in DC, gave a stranger a hug and a warm meal in my homestate, caused a pigeon to nearly choke to death in NYC, sat in a hippie circle during the Occupy Wall St. movement in New Orleans, and of course the endless moments of laughter spent with great friends :-)
