I'm very relaxed and conscientious of others. I'm also a bit introverted but I still really enjoy meeting and talking to new people; since living (and couch surfing!) in France, I've found this to be one of my absolutely favorite things.

I’m currently living in Chambery, France, but will be moving back to the US in May.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and get to know a city from the people who actually live there. J'aimerais aussi pratiquer mon français.

Also, couchsurfing has reminded how generous and kind people are. It's rather rare these days that a stranger will give so much to another stranger, and so I love that couchsurfing gives strangers this opportunity to meet, to connect, to give without necessarily expecting anything back. I love having this chance to make deep connections and have real conversations even if I don't have lots of time to spend or to give; with couchsurfing, I'm able to spend small amounts of time meaningfully (and wonderfully).
