I'm finishing my MSc at the University of Ottawa and am starting an exchange in Longyearbyen. I'm also a treeplanter in Northern Ontario (Canada) during the summers... this will be my 6th season! My background is in human and physical geography, so ask me about either of those and I could talk for hours

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to everything but summer is for classic Canadiana (think: Neil Young and The Band) and indie. My favourite books are non-fiction (Naomi Klein) and biographies. I love all movies.. seriously, I don't think there's any I have disliked in the last few years. If you've ever liked Scrubs, we'll get along great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm explored the Canadian North- Yukon and Northwest Territories, and drove the entire Dempster Highway twice.
