Hey! I'm Brittany. I live on Orcas island in the beautiful San Juans! I am mostly interested in traveling to remote areas. I don't like city life and prefer to see less commercial places. I'm overall an introvert, however I do enjoy meeting people and seeing new things. I like small towns and islands. Living in a tourist destination has really made me appreciate locals and gain respect for the people who live in places that become seasonally over run with people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to see Alaska, but feel the best way to really experience a place is by doing it with people who live there and not through a tour book or online list if "things to do." Hence my debut on this website. :-)

Interests

I like learning. I live the outdoors and am looking for opportunities to be more in tune with the great outdoors. Reading and thinking about new ideas and theories really perks my interest.
