Overview
About Me
I am from the States (Michigan). I lived in Sydney and Melbourne for 2 1/2 months each while Au pairing. I then traveled the east, north, and west coasts. I am traveling New Zealand with the Kiwi Experience now until I start my next Au pair job with a family in Cambridge (NZ). I like to practice yoga, scuba dive, hike, hammock, camp, kayak, rock climb, play sports, and try new things. I am traveling to experience and meet new people and learn about myself, life, and the world in general. I am curious, open minded, and laid back. I am always up for a new bar or club or meet up. I am up beat, friendly, and outgoing. I try to make it a habit to practice positivity and mindfulness. I believe in education, understanding, compassion, tolerance, and love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing because I like meeting new people, and I love my backpacker/traveler friends; they are the most interesting! I love to hear about where you have been and what you have done as well as where you want to go. It is inspiring to hear about fellow travelers' lives and experiences, share their traditions and foods, and share mine as well. Unfortunately, I have lived on a college campus for four years and now live with a host family so I have not been able to host very often. I would like to host people in my home once I am back in the States as we have a great location to go out kayaking, biking, etc. I hope to meet some cool people while I am abroad traveling so if you want to connect.. get at me :)
