Overview
About Me
Former investment manager turned rural farmer in Kenya turned social impact incubator lead.
I love tinkering with new ideas and learning about all amazing inventions this world has to offer.
So... right now I’m living in both Mexico and Kenya helping entrepreneurs to grow small businesses.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling the world to meet & learn from the best inventors across the shelter, food, water, energy & sanitation space. I love meeting new people & think staying with someone is a great way to really get to each other & the area.
I also look forward to hosting couch surfers one day once I have my own place.
Interests
My main hobby is Improv Comedy. I'm horrible at it, but love it! It's a great way to let loose, practice saying "yes, and", following your fear, truly listening & just getting to play.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I believe that when people feel free to "put their head in the clouds" and be ungrounded, crazy ideas that can change the world come about. Ideas like flying people through the sky or communicating across the world in fractions of a second.
I wanted to inspire people to dream, so I led a team at Burning Man to create a giant cloud in the desert for people to come rest, imagine & literally put their head in a cloud.
I'll probably never know if a world changing idea was envisioned there, but it was an incredible experience trying. At a minimum, I heard it was someone's tinder profile picture... so I'll count that as a win ;)
