ABOUT ME

In December 2014, I quit my job to travel and volunteer, starting in Australia and up through Southeast Asia before working my way back to the United States. After 16 months of travel through 13 countries, I returned to Pittsburgh where I currently live and work as a Benefits Specialist. Now I travel a couple of weeks each year.

I love meeting up with people, trying local food, and exploring new spaces. I was last in Scandinavia in July of 2014 and now I'm back ten years later :)

I've not only surfed, but I've had the great pleasure of hosting a few people during my 3.5 years in Cleveland, Ohio.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I participated in Couchsurfing multiple times, meeting or staying with over 100 different CSers. I've never had a bad experience and love the connections/relationships built through this website/app!

Interests

Everything and Anything. I like running, fishing, gardening, hiking mountains, trying new foods, being with people and sharing life over a cup of coffee. Yea, I just really enjoy people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, I hiked a ridiculous fjord (Reinebringen) in the Arctic Circle, then ran two miles for whale meat, hitchhiked back to our tiny Village Å, and cooked it over a little makeshift charcoal set. It felt amazing to me, but probably not to the locals!
