Hello there! It is nice to virtually meet you.

My name is Brittany and I am obsessed with traveling. There is beauty in traveling alone because I feel you learn a lot about yourself and have the opportunity to meet fascinating people that you may not have ventured out to meet, had you traveled with a friend.

I use to be a teacher and recently transitioned into a digital media position for an independent school in Tampa. I really enjoy showcasing our schools mission and the talented students all while helping raising funds since we are an independent school. Along side my work at the school, I have a boutique real estate business. I am currently pursuing my MBA (it's been a long personal goal of mine) and am working toward obtaining my brokers license. Clearly I LOVE to learn.

When I reflect on the most amazing experiences in my life I always think of my first trip abroad in college when I studied in Italy and backpacked Europe followed by solo trip to Spain to be an aupair for the summer. I met such amazing people from all over the world who I am still in contact with today.

I joined couch surfing as a way to meet more likeminded people who enjoy travel and making friends with complete strangers. I look forward to meeting you and learning from one another!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in love with travel, meeting new people, new experiences, trying new foods, learning new cultures etc. Couch surfing is the perfect opportunity to meet new people from various cultures, all over the world. Couch surfing offers true, authentic travel. I mean really... what better way to learn about a city, state or country, than from a local?!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, it's good for the soul! I am not much of a TV person to be honest however, will always enjoy a good comedy. I can't promise I won't ask a million questions and get distracted though. Books are my sweet spot. I love reading anything non-fiction or business related.

Studied in Firenze in college which sparked the travel bug and completely changed the way I view travel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and bake! I would love to make an authentic dish from my childhood or perhaps just a really delicious breakfast. I make the BEST banana pancakes :)

I use to teach art and love to paint. Abstract expressionism is my favorite and I am happy to give some tips to help bring out your creative side.

Otherwise, I am good company and would love to share a good laugh over wine or coffee while exploring .
