Overview
About Me
I work at a food justice nonprofit called Outgrowing Hunger in Portland, OR where I run a mini-farm at a grade school and manage five community gardens. I enjoy biking, crafting, farming, cooking, reading, dancing, and traveling.... Among many other things.
I currently am living in Copenhagen with my partner, Calen, for three months during the winter. I am volunteering with an awesome nonprofit, biking around and exploring the city, eating and drinking delicious food/beverages, and reconnecting with myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Let's discuss this in person ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am currently living in Copenhagen, which is a challenging and awarding adventure that my partner and I are on together. This opportunity sort of fell into our laps and we took it. It's always challenging to leave your comfort zone and step into another world, even if for only a short while. It's allowing me to reconnect with myself spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and professionally. I am enjoying the time without working five jobs and really, truly relaxing :-) It's a good reminder.....
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy cooking with my CS hosts, exploring their neighborhood, favorite dive bars, and eateries. I love to talk about food justice and can teach you how to keep plants alive/grow vegetables.
My sister (whom I am traveling with in January) has a longggg list of films she can recommend.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A friend from afar, inspirational conversation, cooking/baking ideas, tips on how to keep your plants alive and well.
