About Me

**PLEASE NOTE** This page was set up to host First Nation Australians/ Australian First Peoples Travelers only.

I do not accept other backpackers. I moderate the group 'Welcoming Homes for First Nation Travelers' that provide safe homes where First Nation travelers are welcome to stay on route and access essential amenities such as a a warm bed or couch, hot shower, washing machine, and internet as needed. This group was created specifically for hosting and supporting First Nation travelers as an act of gratitude and reciprocity for their incredible dedication and commitment to caring for Country through their activism and community work across Australia.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU DO NOT FIT THE CRITERIA ABOVE

I am a Dancer, Wayapa® Practitioner and Permaculturist who is deeply passionate about reuniting the embodied arts and ecology, and supporting Indigenous sovereignty.

I have over 15 years of experience in dance, from structured to more ecstatic styles, and hold a Master of Environment in Somatic Ecology where my thesis explored somatic dance as a medium of connection and communication with the natural world.

I am also an Accredited Wayapa® Practitioner, an earth connection modality based on Australian Aboriginal knowledge that uses guided movement, story and earth mindfulness to activate deep listening and connection to nature through the moving body.

I currently lead immersive dance experiences that helps people reconnect with their feeling body to express, heal and celebrate their relationship with the land and their own wild soul. These experiences are heavily inspired by ancient and contemporary dance traditions across the globe, combined with my academic background in somatic bodywork, ecology, Indigenous studies and eco-psychology.
