About Me

I don't really know how to describe myself. I think most people are on here because they have a passion to explore the world. I've found the more I travel, and the more people I meet, the more I want to do it. I think one day I may be content to settle, but right now I want to see and hear as much as I possibly can. We only have one life to live, so we ought to live it well, and not waste the time we have. I feel like travelling helps me unlock who I am; I am not sure who I am or what "it" is which I'm searching for, but I think there is no time limit on character development.

I believe that you decide the kind of person you are; you may be shaped by family and experiences, but you ultimately decide how you treat people and your actions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I love to travel, and I enjoy getting in touch with the local areas and people when I do.

I have hosted several surfers as my house, and will continue to do so. I enjoy welcoming people into my home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read incessantly. I adore music and I love movies, but books are my true love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Australia:

Canoeing/hiking for 8 days in NSW. Best experience of my life.
Uluru, and climbinj the Olgas.
Hiking the rim of Katherine Gorge
Hiking through Kakadu and Litchfield National Park

The world:
Sledding on the Alps
Christmastime in Edinburgh (and hiking)
Foreign films in Munich
Loved visiting the Tap House in Copenhagen, and eating falafel in Malmö
Spent 9 hours in the Louvre (it was amazing)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a relaxed and hygienic guest. I can share my cooking skills, Aussie euphemisms, a lot of funny stories and excessive amounts of fun facts. I am both capable of being with people, and entertaining myself.
