Primarily interested in BMI (body machine interfaces) and hope to one day build some cool hardware that can help people. Right now, I'm just trying to learn more about myself and expand my consciousness and understanding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy sightseeing, and touristy things are always fun, but I also like to make connections and experience some deeper cultural immersion. We can learn so much from other people's stories, and meeting people from all over the world with different cultural backgrounds can expand our own minds to the possibilities that are out there.

Music: I enjoy listening to pretty much everything except rap and country, though I'm open to enjoying individual songs in whatever other genre. Books: Name of the Wind, Stormlight Archive, Altered Carbon, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit.
Mostly into sci-fi, fantasy, some non-fiction.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Why host me? I'm always down for jam sessions, cooking together, discussing the meaning of life, going on hiking trips, and sharing this unique connection with you! I love to cook! I was born and raised vegetarian, right now I cook every day for myself, and I love experimenting with baking. I definitely can cook meat as well, but you'll have to give me feedback about the taste, since I can't and won't try that stuff :P Other hobbies/skills: photography, knitting, Chinese painting, piano, engineering, general problem solving consultations, meditation, cat-sitting. Willing to share all that I know and would love to learn from you, too.

Though my roommates are not keen on having strangers stay at our apartment, if I have met you or stayed with you and can call you a friend, you are welcome to stay with me when you are visiting San Francisco!
