I'm a fun loving, easy going. I love to laugh, learn, meet new places, and go new places. While I'm involved in health research, I love learning new things from/about all subject areas. I do not drink or smoke, though neither practice offends me in the least. I travel incredibly light and am very tidy.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book of all time is Peter Pan and my favorite band of all time is The Mountain Goats. I'm an avid reader, though, and enjoy a lot of music. I get roped into watching a lot of movies, but I don't know that I have a particular favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone swimming with sharks and paraglided over African rain forests. I've never said no to a road trip. I love the ocean, tall trees, and cool rocks.

I'm a researcher and a public health professional. If you want insight into population health, preventative care, and a never ending stream of fun facts, I'm your person! (Did you know that access to medical services only accounts for 10% of a person's health outcomes in the US but it's where we put 88% of funding for health??)
