Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have typically stayed in hostels and hotels in the past but desire a more personal experience when traveling that is best captured when staying with locals.

I belong to the OC Couchsurfing group in Orange County, California and have loved meeting the travelers who have come through and am now branching out to try it myself.

Plus I think the unique culture created by couch surfing is one of likeminded individuals and is something I would like to be apart of.

Interests

Soccer, hiking, wakeboarding, waterskiing, snowboarding, dancing, socializing, sailing and especially KITEBOARDING!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneously traveled the world for a year with the love of my life and travel partner, James Stranger (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/james-stranger) with only one way tickets and a one way impromptu sail from Malaysia to Madagascar.
