About Me

While we have been travelling we have been doing a bit of couchsurfing as guests, but now we are living in lisbon and have settled a little bit we would like to give back and host some more couchsurfers!

Please note that we want to host couchsurfers for the experience, not just to give people free accommodation :)
Also we both work fulltime and sam has irregular shifts, so we are not always able to host!

---------

We are a Dutch / Australian couple who have been travelling and working for 2 years and hope to continue!
We're always looking for new adventures and like to travel a bit off the beaten path.

We do visit the tourist sites but what we enjoy most is spending time just walking in the city and doing activities as the locals do (relaxing in a park, hiking a local mountain, sharing food with friends)

:)
We like to get to know the people we stay with, rather than just sleep at their house.

We are independent travellers and take each day as it comes, our plans change along the way as we gain ideas from the people we meet, we keep our minds open and our schedule free so we dont miss out on anything that might pop up

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because meeting locals is just the best way to discover a place by far!
