About Me
Yo! From Phoenix but ditched that hell-hole for Tucson about 7 years ago. I see Tucson as home but for the last year or so ive been moving around doing trail work in Maine and now Missoula.
I studied Physiology and Plant Science in school and I remain very interested in plant and human physiology/consciousness.
I love meeting new people and learning from them. I'm really laid back and enjoy both being really active and quite lazy.
In my free time I like to explore my new city work on various crafts--embroidery, watercolor, crochet. I can share these activities with guests or hosts! I also love to stretch/ yoga, go for bike rides, hike, drink tea and cook with others, listen to music and dance!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My roommates and I have participated in couchsurf by hosting a few great guests! I have also surfed myself in Pasadena with a couple friends.
I hope to start using couchsurfing more with this trip to NZ.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago Brent surfed with us at our home in Tucson. He was biking across the country from Florida to California. It was a blast to have him as our first surfer. Brent stayed with us for about a week, and we have still kept in touch.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
Right now I'm reading The Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, the film The Handmaiden is based off it and that was one of my favorite movies of the past year. I'm also discovering Anais Nin's erotica. Went through a bug sci/fi phase as well with a lot of Le Guin and PKD.
Music:
My music taste is really all over the board... I really love jazz/funk/disco music, and 90s/00s hip hop/R&B holds a special place in my heart. I love to dance to tech house/drum & bass, minimal techno, deep house... I grew up on classic rock, and my recent time in Montana has unearthed my fondness of 90s country. I'm constantly discovering new artists I can dig, and I love to be introduced to new music and others music tastes. Going to concerts/dances are the most fun!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited Zion National Park. We spent the entire afternoon hiking "The Narrows," a hike along a river between a slot canyon.
The scenery was some of the most magnificent I have ever seen. The hike itself was unique as I had never before hiked barefoot in water depths ranging from puddles to up to shoulder blades.
We meet some great people along that hike and had a blast swimming and staring at the beautiful rocks. It truly was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to play the piano, make wine, make granola, salsa, and other goodies, tie-dye.
We could go outside to some cool spots.
We could work on our hand stands!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Company!
We can talk music, about our adventures, places we want to go.
I love to cook and collab on awesome meals.
