I'm a teacher by day, and by night I stay busy with a whole mess of different hobbies (see below for more details). I've lived in Austin since '08, initally moving down here for school and to be in the same city as my fiance. I have since married that fiance, graduated from school, and still loving the city I moved to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, and costs of traveling is often what keeps me from being able to do it. If I can help people experience the awesome-ness that is Austin by letting them crash on my couch, then I call it a win-win situation.

I also hope I may be able to use couchsurfing to help my own travels.

Interests

Since January of '15, I've been actively working on becoming skilled enough to run away and join the circus. I've been studying aerial hoop at various studios here in Austin, and I'm also active in the acroyoga community here in Austin. If you don't know what acroyoga or aerial hoop is, look it up! They're both a lot of fun!

I'm also known to break out a hula hoop, so I hope you like having an abundance of hula hoops at your disposal.
