ABOUT ME

I am a student studying french and plant science. I grew up in the Twin Cities in Minnesota and I am an 80 year-old at heart, but ready to experience some wild times if they present themselves.

The travel community is awesome. People who travel are a special breed of extremely interesting humans, and I want to meet as many of them as I can.

Livin this life to the fullest! Not listening to people who tell me what I can and can not do.

My favorite animal is the cow. My favorite breed of cattle is the highland cow, which is pretty much everybody's favorite breed of cattle. I want to be a farmer when I grow up, but that means I have to get all of my traveling done now.

I love reading and studying, and I think there is no such thing as too much laughter. I also love languages and cultures to death, and I am always planning my next trip!

When abroad, I love seeing art and music performances. I love exploring old places and sharing in the spirit of competitive sporting events.

Norman Borlaug is the father of the Green Revolution, a controversial change in the way farming was done in Mexico and India during the 1970's that led to massive increases in grain production. He is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota and is one of seven people to have won the Nobel Peace Prize, the Congressional Gold Medal, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Small-town farm boy turned famous.
