Hi! My name's Britt and I'd love to meet you!

Kindness, community and connection are for me, three of the most important things in life... I've been very lucky to have made many amazing connections so far in this lifetime, with beautiful people from all over the world. They've each enriched my life in their own special way, and I like to think I've done the same for them!

As well as being a very sociable creature, I obviously loooove to travel. I've got a great collection of awesome experiences from many corners of the planet! For me, there's no better feeling than getting into the local way of life in a new place, having authentic cultural experiences and making the unfamiliar, familiar...

I would consider myself to be quite creative - I love to play music and sing (I'll likely have my ukulele with me on my travels! And can play the keys too.) I enjoy photography, reading, painting and getting outside into nature. I also reeeally enjoy cooking and would very much love to take a spin in your kitchen ;)

I'm generally a very friendly person, open-minded, respectful of others' boundaries and points of view. I'm always very consciously grateful for the things I'm given in life, and would never take your generous hospitality for granted!

Música, películas y libros

My absolute favourite kind of music is soul/funk - I'd love to time-travel back to any party in the mid-to-late 70's for a seriously good boogie. But I also love folk/blues, hip-hop/rnb and classic rock... I can get behind most anything, basically! Local live gigs and big music festivals are some of my favourite things - I've been to heeeeeaps.

I'm quite fussy with movies these days - I used to be able to watch anything quite happily but now, (sadly!), it takes something pretty special to hold my attention. A film I saw recently that I really enjoyed is called "I, Origins"... Also love my Disney, Pixar and Studio Ghibli films!

My favourite book is Shantaram - a traveller's cliche, but with good reason! I'd also recommend an amazing fiction book called "Jasper Jones" by Craig Silvey, to any international traveller interested in Aussie culture and history.

I galloped a horse across the African savannah, alongside a tower of wild giraffes! Whatta thrill :D

If you play an instrument or like to sing, let's jam! Would also love to get into the kitchen with you - I find that cooking and eating together is a great way to connect and learn new things.
