About Me

I am a calm and wonderingly woman who loves nature, peace and quiet. At the same time I can be very enthousiast, and I love cities with their rarities, drinking coffee, talking about life and experiencing the particular spirit of a new place. I love to discover places I haven’t visited before, or rediscover places that I have, by just sitting on a bench and watching time and people pass by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to circumstances, I traveled to Canada solo instead of with a travelbuddy. I liked the idea of getting in touch with enjoyable, local people who liked to show me around parts of BC, or who could give me good tips to go and hang out on my own or find cosy atmospheres. As I love to learn about the nature and good hiking trails, I liked the way you can try to find same-spirited people on CS. I don’t look at it as a medium to stay at people’s places (since I love to be independent) more as to find a connection with people who share with me some time of their particular lives in the places I’ve chosen to discover. Had great experiences so far, and also a bad one. They both showed le it’s good to rely on one’s own intuition. So thank you CS, great medium!

Interests

I've been travelling quite a lot during my life, mostly surf and climbing vacations. The last years i've embraced hiking and nature even more. I love to listen to honest music. I'm a vegetarian. I love coffee ànd herbal tea, the duck sounds of Moes my cat, blueberries, my old Volvo, Socrates, the changing of the seasons, Tinguely, my nephews, my Portugese slippers, old grown forests, my leaf tattoos
