ABOUT ME

Well well ..about me eh? Ive lived in bc all my life.. born in kamloops and then discovered the kootenays, i fell head over heals in love. After i graded university i travelled to new zealand and moved to nelson right after i got back. Ive lived all over the west kootenays and loving every minute of it. Right now im working at the trail hospital and living in warfield.. about a 5 min drive to rossland.

I love summer... everything bout it. I'm either kayaking, camping, fishing or geocaching. I love road trips and don't spend a lot of time at home in the summer. There's just too much to see and do around here!

Ive got a bad hip so i cant snowboard/ski.. but i love to snowshoe and frolick in the snow!

I love my friends and family.. we are always up to something. whether it be road tripping to a concert, chillin around a bonfire or partying at a local festival.

Im addicted to travelling.. well arent we all? Been to fair share of places.. but not near enough. I have a bucket list on my wall and it feels pretty nice checking things off! Next trip is hopefully bolivia, chile and easter island. Been dreaming of that one for a while..

All in all.. im pretty laid back and im up for anything really! I can get pretty silly at times.. dont take things too seriously.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive hosted several times when living in rossland and each experience was tons of fun and met some amazing ppl!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With my first couchsurfers we ended up becoming zombies dancing the nite away on halloween! the next group involved... sledding down the streets of rossland buzzed off fireball! another couple attended our 80's winter olympic party.. dressed in skin tight snowsuits.. painful lol

While i travel i mostly stay in hostels.. find it hard to find a host with short notice and don't really like planning my travels to far ahead of time. But i did couchsurf a couple times in ireland and had some interesting experiences..:)

1) Skydiving in new zealand from 15000 feet in the air.. pretty amazing.
2)Shambhala 2009.. the majestic party of the kootenays set in the forest in salmo, bc!
3)Finding a bag of beer at an ancient monestary in Ireland, while watching the sunset all alone..it was magical.

Geocaching!... ill take you geocaching... nerdy as it is/may seem... its tons of fun and everyone gets addicted! its treasure hunting with a gps in the wilderness.. whats better?
