About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To close the six degrees of separation gap.

ABOUT ME

I caught the travel bug when I was 19 with my first trip abroad to the Cannes Film Festival, and I've been on the move ever since. I love experiencing local life, flavor -- so much so that it sparked my interest in documentary photography. I studied photo journalism in college, and since, I'm rarely seen without my Cannon 30D. Shooting pictures is my art and release. Before I leave NYC (at this point that could be decades), my goal is to show my work somewhere -- gallery, collective, somewhere.

If I could volunteer for the rest of my life, I would, but a girl's got to eat. So, instead, I work as a fundraiser for a women's health non-profit. I also volunteer on Saturdays as a cheerleading coach in Brooklyn.

I'm all over the place all the time, but I love making new friends, doing new things, chatting about life, cooking for people and showing folks around my beloved city!

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music. It's the only sonic experience.

There are very few books I don't like. Some favorites include: Moneyball, Reading Lolita in Tehran, Interpreter of Maladies, My Year of Meats, Nickel and Dimed, the Harry Potter series, Pride and Prejudice, and Guns, Germs & Steal

Indi flicks, documentaries, romantic comedies, old black and white films and musicals are my favorites.
