ABOUT ME
I have three prophesies: first, that in 2011 I will join an institution that I will change -- well whatevs -- second that if I read GEB:EGB and Julian Jaynes Origin of Consciousness I will understand consciousness, and third that I will never pass first year of university.
PHILOSOPHY
That the universe is moving from a state of vast energy but ultimate simplicity to a state of ultimate complexity and absolute entropy. Also NB the fact that something is not predictable does not mean it is not predetermined, ie the universe is impossible to predict with our current technologies, but still perfectly deterministic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to get shit done, first of all. I think getting shit done is probably the most important thing you can do. Also I like to learn and interface with knowledge in new and interesting ways, and hope to, by said interactions, be able to spin-off some semi-telligible recursions on the theme: vis-a-vis Hofstadter and definitely not Descartes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met a guy on a train in the depths of china, offered my spare room, he gave me my first review, the rest were met in hostels in Chengdu.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I broke into the Sanlitun raids on April 4th 2008 in Beijing so I could see what it loked like. It was pretty sweet. Also ran down/along/up several mountains.
