About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Adventure

ABOUT ME

I enjoy writing, and would love to be able to live off of that, however at the moment I work as a care assistant in a nursing home. It can be a backbreaking, soul destroying job, but it's worth it.

I have recently returned from a short trip through Europe, most of which was spent in Amsterdam. Whilst travelling I met many wonderful people and experienced things I will never forget.

The hospitality I experienced on my travels has reinforced my belief that couchsurfing is a cause worth supporting, I would like to show other travellers the kindness I have been shown.

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing in life is to be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd be happy to show people around Glasgow, or any other part of Scotland. My couch will be available once I sort out a flat for myself.

Feel free to give me a message if you need a guide to Glasgow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had much experience of couchsurfing unfortunately, I found it very hard to find hosts whilst travelling. As such, if you need a place to stay let me know, don't worry if it's short notice, as long as I check my profile in time I will be happy to help out as much as I can.

Interests

I love writing, it is the one thing that I can always enjoy.

I play about with music, I wouldn't say I can play very much, but I enjoy plucking away at guitars and plinking on pianos.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Franz Kafka, Mervyn Peake and a whole host of other authors. If it isn't cliched I'll read it.

My music taste is quite eclectic, I'll listen to, and enjoy, most genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one thing that comes to mind is standing on top of a 400 foot high chimney and watching the sun set over the islands on the firth of the Clyde. Being in unusual places and seeing beautiful things is what makes me want to travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've dabbled in many things, and love expanding my knowledge.

I have recently discovered the joy of cooking, and would love to learn new and obscure recepies.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Netherlands, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
