I am finally settling down in Oslo after a few years of wandering...

Busy starting up a Hub here in Oslo. (http://the-hub.net/) Essentially, The Hub is a co-working space/community of change makers. I would say that the work I do is that of a facilitator of learning, change, and community- with individuals and organizations, big and small.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I moved from Amsterdam to Oslo almost a year ago and am hoping to get more active in the Oslo CS scene.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bombay, India was my first time. I landed a job in Bollywood that same day thanks to my host, Eddie.

I love to write and my very broad range of interests that are involved with my writing, reading, and traveling include: anthropology, mysticism, philosophy, futurism, theatre, astrology, astronomy, physics, shamanism, and photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The ruins of Pompeii, La Alhambra, Camino de Santiago, living at Shakespeare and Co. in Paris, and being on the Ganges in Varanasi probably top my list.

But, honestly, what is number one is still waking up at sunrise on my hometown lake , making fresh coffee and hearing the loons call, as the weather is still cool and the sun is rising. There is nothing more breath-taking to me than Rainy Lake, Minnesota.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe we often forget that we are all here on this planet together. I feel an important purpose in my life through seeking unity. By taking the time to compliment one stranger I encounter everyday on something they are wearing, doing, etc., I find that the smile on that person's face is something they won't forget to pass on to someone else. People need all the face-to-face contact they can get, and remembering that the people around you are your brothers and sisters can make a huge impact on the world.
