ABOUT ME

Hi Couchsurfers!
After living and traveling in Africa as a volunteer teacher, I experienced the genuine friendliness of people who were so eager to open up their homes to me. I'm here with the same spirit of kindness, adventure, and cultural exchange. I'm an honest, compassionate, positive guy who loves the outdoors and meeting people from different backgrounds. In my spare time I rock climb, mountain bike, and play basketball.

I believe in continually learning, whether it's in the classroom or just talking to people. As for travelling, I've been to 17 countries so far, half of them in SubSaharan Africa. Lived in Rwanda for over a year. Most of my trips have been engineering service trips through organization like Engineers Without Borders.

I sadly don't have a living arrangement at the moment that allows me to host, but I hope that will change in the coming year!
