About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life one day at a time! I am very busy and work lots of evenings so please keep this in mind when you are sending a request.
ABOUT ME
I am a very simple laid-back person who enjoys meeting people, learning about other cultures and learning other languages. I like to laugh and enjoy the simple things in life!!!!!! I enjoy cooking and learning recipes from other countries. I’m very positive and can have fun in almost any situation.
PHILOSOPHY
Life isn't perfect, but if you try to enjoy the positive aspects of it and ignore the negative ones it can get better. Nothing like a good laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to host CS whenever I can and if I’m not in the conditions of hosting, I'll definitely go out for a coffee or drink and show them around. There is no better way for a cultural exchange!!!! I opened my profile when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cape Verde and wasn't really expecting to have the opportunity to host so many wonderful couchsurfers and show them a bit of what I was doing and learn so much from all the travelers out there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have moved quiet a bit and have always met people through the couchsurfing community. I have met great people from all over the world who entertained me with their funny and crazy adventures. I love the intercultural exchange that CS provides. Definitely great times!
Interests
I like to TRAVEL, TRAVEL, TRAVEL! Learn other languages, meet people from all over the world. Cooking, eating different types of foods, learning about other cultures, going to the beach, archaeology, photography, reading, dancing, reggae music, halloween, DOGS, animals, hiking, being out in nature, kayaking, running, kickboxing, scuba diving, camping, recently yoga and biking (thanks to the CS community in San Antonio).
