ABOUT ME

About me... Well a few years ago my best friend and I left Australia for the world and what an incredible, unforgettable, around the world trip we had, where I visited over 25 countries and 90 destinations and had the time of my life! Then it was back to reality and this strange thing called work everyone keeps telling me about :) I've had a few smaller trips over the last year, but this year I am heading off again, to South America! A continent that left me craving to see more... I cherish my beautiful family and friends, and my 3 amazing brothers, they mean the world to me. I love the beach, the sun, the ocean, the water(!), learning about different cultures and religions, sport, my job, my life! Sometimes I think I am truly blessed. Oh and the big one- food! Love it all and like trying new and interesting cuisines... I like to make people smile and like people who make me laugh. I value honesty, humour, sincerity, determination and an open mind. I'd admire bravery, strength and patience. I dislike arrogance, materialism, shallowness, pessimism, judgemental people and littering... I like to be surrounded by my family and friends, and meeting new people... I think no matter where you are in the world it's the people you are with and the people you meet that can make all the difference.

PHILOSOPHY

I think its important to live in the now but also to have plans for the future. Trust your intuition and embrace every opportunity that comes your way. Right now, life is great and I'm loving each and every day!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined couchsurfing when a cool backpacker I met on my round the world trip introduced me to it. All the people I was lucky to stay with were incredible and definitely made my experience of that country that much more exciting. I think its a great idea and a great way to get involved with new and interesting cultures and people. Look forward to having my couch up for grabs!
