ABOUT ME

Hey there

I'm a 30 year old australian travelling through Europe solo. I'm a big, bearded and fun fellow with a love of music (bassy electronica, future beats and chilled stuff), food, dancing and all the best things humankind can crank out.

I'm always looking to make new friends and see new places, and I love seeing them from a perspective not often offered to travelers, so if you are interested in escorted your new 6'5 friend around your town then please get in touch!

Although I'm new to Couchsurfing I've always lived with an open door policy back home. There is something great about coming home and talking to somebody who has a new set of opinions and views to offer, it keeps life interesting and the enthusiasm for travel is passed across to the host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living in a giant sharehouse with 8 artistic people in Australia, I'm use to the random factor that comes with new people being around all the time and the experiences that can bring with it. Many have slept on my couch at home, and I have enjoyed the experience of having them share themselves with me during their stay. Looking forward to putting myself out into the world and doing the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite authors include Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett and Hunter S Thompson. Tarrentino films are pretty great, and love me some quirky cult and arthouse films. Musically I'm pretty diverse but love Foals, Gorillaz, Diplo, Tame Impala, The Presets, Midnight Jugganauts and a variety of indie, hip-hop, dance and chillout stuff in equal measure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fell asleep with friends on the top of a Cambodian temple, after a somewhat arduous climb, with no one else around us but a single Cambodian boy and his kite.
