ABOUT ME

I am a geek. And laid back. I am a laid back geek. I have the glasses to prove it. My wife travels with me also. She is geeky, too. Also kind of shy and quiet. We have our dog, Lady, who is a basset hound who might lick you to death. She loves everyone and everything.

PHILOSOPHY

Brodie: Life is what it is. Have fun.
Tierney: I believe you should treat others as they treat you. If you're nice to me I'm nice to you. If you're a jerk to me, guess what? I'm gonna be a jerk to you back. I'm kinda an pessimistic optimist: plan for the worst and hope for the best. That way you are never disappointed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would host but since I travel, there's no one home. But I find myself holed up in a city and try to see if someone wouldn't mind hanging out at their place and also lending me their couch for a day or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm kind of new to this, but not really. My wife is new to this. My dog is new to this but doesn't care unless you don't pet her.

Interests

Geeky stuff. But I'm up for anything new. Tierney spends most of her free time on Tumblr. She also enjoys walking in nature and is kinda obsessed with the show Doctor Who. Well, we both are really. We both like trying new things, but Tierney is pretty shy so it takes her a while to feel comfortable in a new situation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Brodie: Married the best woman in the world.
Tierney: I married the best man in the world! Also, I used to watch the dolphins dance at sunset every night off of New Smyrna Beach in Florida. That was pretty amazing.
