About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get out from under my rock

ABOUT ME

Easy going guy who wants to experience this world for what it is. Just about to set off and my first real adventure taking in North and South America, UK and Europe and anywhere in between. Don't want this to be a typical sightseeing holiday but a chance to involve myself in the way of life of others and to experience different people and cultures. A friend recommended couchsurfing to me and it sounded like the perfect opportunity!

PHILOSOPHY

Always trust a man with a beard

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to host until I leave and then hopefully crash on a few couches and meet some locals along the way

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing virgin but looking forward to the experience

Interests

Well I enjoy all the typical things an Aussie guy grows up with. Love sport, music, fishing, camping and love having a beer! Currently taking Spanish lessons to help with my travels and to try and broaden my mind. Always interested in meeting new people and taking in the stories they have to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a pretty diverse taste in music and am open to listening to just about anything. Books I prefer to read autobiographies or true stories as I enjoy having an insight into the way others have lived. Not too much of a movie fan, would rather be off doing something else than sitting in front of a tv.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Angkor Wat would have to be the highlight of my limited travels. But hoping to have an endless list when my time is up

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment it's all a learning curve for me. This is my first big trip and willing to take advice from anyone!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia
