ABOUT ME

I'm probably somewhere between a luddite and average white bread. On the one hand I infinitely prefer a personal conversation over a string of facebook comments and on the other facebook is the first thing I check in the morning. I don't own a TV or use an internet substitute, but like most people I go on Youtube binges (complete with hangover about how I'm wasting my life). I hate using fossil fuel and love Wendell Berry, but I commute to work and shop at Kroger.

All of that to say, I truly enjoy meeting new people, making real connections, and having a meaningful community.

By spreading the word, updating my profile like a madman, and trying to surf and be surfed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, CS has been a Godsend. I surfed in the U.K. for four days with a couple of great Britains and toured Madrid with an awesome native. All of my experience with CS has been a very positive. I recommend it to everyone.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I watched a copapod mating ritual in the shallow waters around a small island off mainland Belize. They were brilliant blue spots flickering in the warm water, dancing in rows and spirals. The spots rose and fell in a waltz as the waves rolled by. Then above the water, I watched a crimson moon rise into an endless span of stars dotting the sky.
