About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I really really like folks. Every single person has a lifetime of stories to tell me, and I want to hear every one; I understand that is not all that possible, but I am really in the mood for trying to hear as many as I can.

ABOUT ME

I am a really big fan of just jumping right into situations and trying to get the most out of wherever I am (if I'm at a bank, why not make friends with the teller?). I do not believe there is a person in the world that I don't like, because I think every person has mostly good and reasons for the bad (one time though, I didn't like living with my roommate because he didn't brush his teeth, but I think I still like him, just not him as a roommate). I'm a bit of a vegan. I run. I have a problem of easily getting addicted to things I do not like (such as television or staying up for no reason), so I make really obscure deals where I have to take ice cold showers for five days, buy strangers around the next time I'm at a bar, or give a stranger money in a Game Show Voice if I don't do what I say I'm going to do. As you may see, I'm a little quirky, but really just enjoy creativity and keeping life interesting. I love my family much, and I think my brother might just be a slightly better version of myself (except I can speak Portuguese, Spanish and English [with a hint of French!], and he can only speak Spanish and English). I say "Go Gators!" a lot when it may or may not apply. I can talk for a really long time, but also really like listening, so it's perfect for hanging out with the shy or the extrovert. I type too much, and I hope you message me to find out a little more, and then I get to find out about you!!!

PHILOSOPHY

So I think life is one of the most valuable and precious things in the world (I Mean what are the chances that we would live; literally less than 1 in trillions considering all the sperm and eggs that your parents could have combined, plus the possibility of various trisomies and then the amazing beauty of evolution leading to us being here; mmm, how cool is that? AND THEN THE ABILTIY TO MEET PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD AND BE BORN IN SUCH A COOL TIME! DAAAANG!). We have one shot at life, and I feel like it is extremely important to make the best of that lovely opportunity. I personally really like interacting with, hearing the stories of, and contributing positive things to (because then I get to help make their precious life opportunity a little nicer) other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not been able to host, but I think I can start in like October/November 2022!!!!! Really used couchsurfing a lot right out of college, but now excited to try it again (rest of profile might not be so updated, but i skimmed and it looks dece). There is too much to offer in every location just by meeting new people, and I am more than happy to introduce you to some fun folks in the cities I am in (If I have friends there). Right now though, I should be hopefully bringing my lifetime of stories and friendliness to a welcoming house during travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly a meetings guy, and people are really wonderful! I was hosted once after getting really terrified in Rio de Janeiro. CS is good in keeping me alive! Did a lot of surfing in France as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

If somebody spent a really long time working on it, it is probably worth something. (not in a listing mood)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had nothing to do for a spring break, so I asked a kid that lived nearby me if he would like to go to Daytona Beach (110 miles/175 km from my university) by bike the next day. He was hesitant at first, but then we decided the adventure would be rad. So we biked 60 or so miles one day, then when it started to get dark we just looked for a park to sleep, and then we found a sweet park with an abandoned raquetball court where we slept, woke up the next morning, biked the rest of the way, and were in Daytona Beach! (My friend might still have knee problems after that, but I think he is overall happy with the decision)

Teach, Learn, Share

My mom is from Colombia, dad is from India, and I'm American so I have a wide variety of culture to share.
I can type fast.
My Ipod has a lot of music on it (and I just started using it again).
I think about lots and lots of topics, and am ultradown for quality discussion.
Good group game knower.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and chatting, and will usually get at least one meal to my host. I am happy to practice any of the languages I know. Whatever the host may ask for me to share, I think I will greatly consider! I like sharing.
