CURRENT MISSION

To travel with the band throughout Europe all the while meting engaging, entertaining, and englightening people. The band consists of two people, myself, Eric Larocque, and the other guy, Ben Caldwell.

ABOUT ME

Well, Broken Down Suitcase is a two piece folk-roots band based out of Golden, BC. Eric Larocque from Markham, ON meet his now good friend Ben Caldwell of Cromwell, New Zealand in Golden, BC because of some serious snowboarding. They then became roommates and started creating music together, and playing in local establishments in the Golden region. They quickly realized they had a shared dream to backpack through Europe and want to make it a reality.

Therefor when we visit we can share our music with whomever will listen.

PHILOSOPHY

The band has it's own philosophy: Folk art, Folk music, Folk you!

Meaning we want people to develop their own unique style without people telling them. Take what belongs to the people back, art, music, and ourselves.
