Hi,

I'm Brom, an Englishman with a passion for sports, nature, and great adventures!

I caught the travel bug after a summer working at a kids camp in the USA back in 2010 and have just kept exploring since! Whilst away, I try to spend my time outdoors, whether it be cities or in the wilderness, I'm just happy to soak in the world around me (usually including some good food and beer).

In January 2015 I was lucky enough to meet my girlfriend Bryony whilst living in Wales. She is a brilliant pianist and artist, and now, my brilliant housemate and travel companion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Myself and Bryony are a pair with real wanderlust. We have dreams of seeing the world, experiencing different cultures, and ideally getting off the beaten tourist track whilst we do it.

On our previous adventures, local knowledge and enthusiasm have always made the destinations that bit more special. So, if you'd like to show off your hometown or just give us a base and some tips for us to explore for ourselves, we'd love to hear from you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up to the sound of Bruce Springsteen on my Dad's vinyl records, but I enjoy most music, especially if it is live.

My childhood also involved watching The Lord of the Rings on VHS, but more recently I have really enjoyed Martian, Inception, Shutter Island and Yes Man.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to cage dive with Great White sharks in South Africa.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are not gourmet chefs, but would be happy to cook or help around the kitchen. We'd be more than happy to help with any pets, and would actively enjoy taking your dog out for a walk or run. I can also provide sport science support if you're thinking of getting fit and healthy this year or furthering your sporting performance. Alternatively, Bry could help with any music or art projects you might be taking on.
