Open minded and adventurous person who loves experiencing new things, from travelling & food to different activities & meeting new people. I currently live in Wanaka, New Zealand where I spend most of my time snowboarding in the winter and biking/hiking in the summer - however for the next 2 months I’m enjoying the open boarders to start exploring more of the world again.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was initially recommended by a few friends who love using couch surfing, and have had great experiences the times I’ve been hosted (mostly as the +1 to my regular CS friends). Im looking forward to meeting new people and being able to explore new places with the help of those I meet along the way.

兴趣

Like a big kid, many of my interests are about having fun in the outdoors. Fortunately living in NZ means I have great access to lots of these, from snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, climbing, watching sunsets, to whatever games we can find for a bit of competitiveness among friends. Between all of that I also enjoy my down time just to chill, read a book, cook a meal, play some cards and have a beer with mates.

Always varies depending on the mood. Music: Lo-fi beats for work or relaxing, hip-hop & rap vibes for snowboarding, and house for partying. Books: My all time favourite is George Orwell ‘1984’, and some recent great reads include ‘Factfullness’ by Hans Rosling and ‘Stolen Focus’ by Johann Hari.

Among many travels I spent a year backpacking with a friend across Europe, Asia & the Pacific - including hitchhiking from France to Portugal, a month hiking in Nepal, exploring central & north India, and driving/ hiking our way across all of New Zealand.
