About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To fully realise oneness with all beings and to always follow my heart.

ABOUT ME

I'm an energetic person who enjoys getting the most out of every day whether that be doing everything or doing nothing! I was born in South Australia and lived there for the first 35 years of my life. I 2006 I moved to Sydney to pursue studies in Baroque Cello. In 2014 I moved to Melbourne to pursue writing. In 2021 I moved to Mansfield, just near Bulla Bulla, Melbourne's winter playground to work in a Rudolf Steiner school. When I moved, I said it would be a stepping stone to France - well now I'm in France :)! I freelance as a cellist, teacher and writer, and am developing my website to sell my art.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a pretty spiritual being, and enjoy finding meaning in the things that happen day by day. I have been practicing yoga for a few years regularly now, and find this balances me physically, mentally and emotionally. I was brought up as Christian but I have now moved to a more universal understanding of what some call God. I believe we all possess a treasure within us which is both precious and universal. I love hearing about how people connect to that in their lives, and their journey of making this real. For me it has led me to pursue making music. This is both a passtime and a means of me communicating my love of life to others. I don't know where it will take me, but it is the journey that matters to me, rather than the end!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I moved interstate from my home state, I found people come to visit and I really enjoy having other people stay from all around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always preferred to stay with local people when I travel, luckily I have always had friends around the world and all my trips tend to be to visit them. Now, I have met more new friends in Europe who have been hosting me. I love collecting new friends that will visit me when I'm back in Australia!

Interests

I enjoy creating - sketching, weaving rag rugs, photography, quilts, food, great experiences with my friends etc etc. I also love walking and exploring (when in Australia I love bushwalking). I'm a keen bike rider, do yoga and have just taken up Swing Dancing.
