ABOUT ME

I got the travel bug a while back after doing some traveling around Europe and South East Asia. Then after two years kick-starting my career I quit my job, waved goodbye to NZ and went for an 8 month trip around South America, Mexico and more of Europe. I'm back home now and itching for another overseas jaunt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have played host to couch surfers from far and wide on a semi-regular basis with my flatmates. I also couch surfed a little while away.

I've stayed on some couches and had some stay on my couches.

Interests

Anything creative/art and crafty things, hanging out with friends and going on little adventures, music, activities outdoors, food, exercise, travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies, especially one's that are a little quirky. Off the top of my head; The Fall, Moonrise Kingdom, Amelie, Intouchables, Extremely loud and Incredibly close, Silver linings playbook, End of Watch. That said I'm a sucker for a block buster or a chick flick, not to mention any of the Harry Potter series.

Night Circus is an incredible book. Fiction or non fiction I love a good read. Born to run and Bill Bryson's A short history of everything are great non fictions.

I love to dance. Also anything I can sing a long too (not very well) is also ideal. I love being introduced to new artists and genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing monks do their rounds at the crack of dawn in Laos, going for a dip in the ocean surrounding a tiny island off Rhodes. Swimming with whale sharks off the coast of Mexico. Watching a square full of old people dance the night away in Rosario, Argentina. So many great things.
