Overview
About Me
I've been traveling for the last couple of years...actually I'm not a great traveler, I'm more of a lingerer. I like to stop, take my time and absorb the atmosphere. Sometimes I work or volunteer. I'm less interested in 'sightseeing' and more interested in living around interesting sights - infusing my being with people, colour and culture.
I love stories, food (I enjoy cooking) , outdoor life and adventure. I am unlikely to party through the night but love to share a bottle of wine and chat. Oh, and I want to learn to dance!
I'm new to couch surfing. For me this is not about free accommodation but rather a way to meet interesting locals. To hopefully see a side to your country that I wouldn't if I was hanging out in hostels.
I would like to have coffee in your favorite coffeeshop, learn the name of the beggar that lives on the corner of your street, discover that best hidden place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
I want to be 'let in' on the secrets of your city.
CURRENT MISSION
To wake up in this lifetime....or at least not sleep too much.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love travel, but it's all about the locals. I am not interested in yet another coffee shop, yet another bar, yet another tour.... Don't get me wrong. Those things are great. But I'm more interested in you. Who you are, what your life is about, what excites you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailed across the Atlantic
Walked the Anapurnas...alone
Skydived and bungee jumped (Hasn't everyone?...and I wouldn't again)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn to dance, share a few laughs and perhaps a bottle of wine.
The most precious thing you have is your time, I'd be honored if you'd share it with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A few stories, good laughs, a bit of yoga....and I love to cook :)
