About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the world of medicine, hopefully doing some good.

ABOUT ME

I studied history and Japanese in college. Afterwards, I worked seasonally, spending my summers working trails in Yosemite, Oregon, the Adirondacks and Minnesota. I also led crews of high schoolers to complete environmental projects.

In the winters, I worked in the US Antarctic Program at South Pole Station in various trades and ran the Trauma team.

I'm currently back into school, now for medicine in Providence, RI. My life isn't as mobile as it used to be, but I don't plan on it staying that way!

Also, I have trouble remembering to put the cap back on the toothpaste.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The best experiences of my life have been the result of whims and the kindness of strangers. I'd like to pay it forward.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was in Dunedin New Zealand. I was backpacking on a budget and they helped me get through. My second time I stayed in Eugene Oregon with a wonderful woman and her son.
