About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Undermining evil and working to further the sustainability of good.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in New England where we did things like play in the woods and press apple cider in the fall. But I was close enough to New York City to gain an appreciation for the arts in the form of museums and theatre at a young age. I've moved around for education and work, but I think of where I am living as a home base from which to launch the next big adventure. I yearn for a strong sense of community with responsible people.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all in this together and it pays to remember the implications of that in all that we do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted lots of folks in my former homes in Boise, ID and Elko, NV. Now my wife and I live in Klamath Falls, OR and are looking to host folks again! We are always up for new adventures and love to explore the area with awesome couchsurfers. We love showing people around places we know and seeking adventure in the unknown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had good times in a bunch of place around the US as well as some crazy couchsurfing adventures in Iceland, Peru, Nepal, Ethiopia, Chile, and Guatemala.

As a host, it has been my pleasure to meet all kinds of new and fascinating people, many of whom I am happy to now count among my friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Community! My delight in engaging people and being a part of a huge network of friends that we are all in the process of discovering. My joy for exploration and all things new or rediscovered. Many a wild tale of adventures past... and plans for adventures yet to come.

Permaculture and community design on any scale. Talking ideas and... if there is time, helping to put these things in action!
