About Me

ABOUT ME

My best friends would say I'm curious and adventurous. I am intelligent and humorous. Friends say I am thoughtful and help others to feel comfortable. I am sincere, and appreciative of life. I am outgoing and personable, someone who has easy conversations with people. I went to Johns Hopkins University and Stanford in the States, if anyone likes to talk about the arts or new business ideas I really like both those things. I'm super into the outdoors and do a lot of "stealth camping" with a hammock, with resultant stories :). I speak fluent Spanish and like to teach if you're interested. I also enjoy cooking. One of my favorite things is to make a meal together while talking, listening to music, and having a drink.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, especially EDM. I read lots of books, Spring Snow by Yukio Mishima is a favorite, one of my favorite movies is Blue Velvet by David Lynch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went for a walk up a stream in the Dominican Republic by myself with a new pair of binoculars for butterfly viewing that allow up close viewing. I was looking around at some rocks and saw this amazing shimmering area of moss with water dripping down it sparkling in the sun. That was beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English or Spanish, how to make a New England clam chowder, and how to dance salsa music. I like to learn new words and music, I can share going out to cultural events or even dancing, and maybe a book.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy practicing English conversation. I'm also a good cook, maybe I can make you a delicious meal. :)
