Portman and Frank Lloyd Wright), psychology, empathy, intellectual conversations, whiskey, singing, history, watching/reading documentaries of fascinating people, appreciating fashion, polka-dots, Doctor Who, reading, nature, hiking, camping, cycling, astronomy (Sagan and NdT, represent!), Star Trek, Patrick Stewart, bow-ties, tea ("tea, earl grey, hot..."),Tardigrades (a.k.a. water bearz), layering collared shirts with a good sweater, genetics, a good pun *groan* ;-), beer, song-writing, tasty food, traveling...

Toured sci-fi/"nerd" conventions of the Southeast in a steampunk, time-lord rock band.

A couple dreams of mine: are to climb Mt. Fuji and be there at the summit when the sun first rises, and hike the Pacific Coast and Appalachian Trail.
